The first show will take place Wednesday, August 18th, 2010 at 7:30p.m. at one of New York City's hottest nightclub venues; Touch New York City (240 West 52nd Street, New York, NY) and will feature fashion designers; Marco Hall, one of New York's most exciting, creative and cutting edge new designers, "image maker" Leonard Wise, Dean John Fashions, and crochet designer Chila for Fun, jewelry by Ilana Cohavy and shoes by The John Ashford Collection. The event will be filmed for worldwide web casting by Vainstyle.com introducing fall preview.
The fashion shows are a showcase for national and international designers who create cutting edge couture and want to reach out to the US market. In addition to being a unique opportunity for talented fashion designers, the event promises to attract the participation of some of the most innovative shoes and accessories, creative makeup artists, trend setting hair stylists and stunning runway models.

Nissan has taken on the challenge to convert all New York City taxicabs into fully electric vehicles. The vans must undertake extreme driving conditions of the stop and go traffic and nonstop action of the city, which average about 100,000 miles each year. These 6 cabs will be able to charge up at 100 charging stations throughout the city and will be fully equipped with the latest plug-ins for their passenger's phones and computers. With everything going as planned, we could see the start of this transition happening as early as 2013 and totally phased in by 2018.
