With just about enough chance as hailing down the 'Cash Cab', there are now 6 new taxis on the streets of the busiest city in the world. Nissan has taken on the challenge to convert all New York City taxicabs into fully electric vehicles. The vans must undertake extreme driving conditions of the stop and go traffic and nonstop action of the city, which average about 100,000 miles each year. These 6 cabs will be able to charge up at 100 charging stations throughout the city and will be fully equipped with the latest plug-ins for their passenger's phones and computers.
